REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer
PURPOSE: This individual’s primary responsibility will be the marketing, promotion, and execution of all sponsorship and licensing sales for USA Softball.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for selling all USA Softball and Hall of Fame Complex-controlled partnership assets through naming rights, sponsorships, licensing and supplier opportunities.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities by researching and exploring all sponsorship inventories.
  • Identify potential partners and develop relationships with key decision-makers to sell sponsorship opportunities.
  • Preparation and presentation of customized sales materials in person or over the phone leading to comprehensive needs analyses to gain further understanding of the prospects’ goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the coordination of contract re/negotiations for new and current partners.
  • Develop and supervise fulfillment processes to ensure deliverables and compliance.
  • Maintain and report weekly sales and/or prospecting activity.
  • Sell licensing rights of USA Softball-owned marks and track minimum guarantees and royalties.
  • Track and maintain records related to licensed vendors, minimum guarantees and royalty reports.
  • Maintain records of National Team athletes’ equipment needs and coordinate with licensed suppliers.
  • Oversee fundraising efforts and build relationships with individuals and organizations to secure philanthropic support.
  • Other duties as assigned pertinent to the successful execution of sales and other marketing initiatives.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work at National Headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent organizational focus and attention to detail.
  • Clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter as well as work in a team environment.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and travel domestically.
  • Works effectively and quickly in a dynamic environment with exceptional prioritization skills.
  • Eager to learn in an ever-changing industry with a passion for sports, softball preferred.
 
Salary range for this position is negotiable depending on experience, includes potential incentive package.
