Job Summary
USA Pickleball (USAP) is seeking a hands-on Graphic Designer to execute visual design across marketing, digital content, events, tournaments, and brand initiatives. This role supports and strengthens USA Pickleball’s visual identity by producing high-quality, on-brand creative across all channels. The ideal candidate is a confident individual contributor who works independently, manages multiple projects efficiently, and collaborates closely with internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality visual assets across digital and print, including:
- Marketing campaigns
- Social media
- Email graphics
- Event signage and collateral
- Tournament and program materials
- Partnership and sponsorship assets
- Execute designs that align with USA Pickleball brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels and initiatives.
- Own projects from concept through final delivery, interpreting briefs and direction, managing timelines, and delivering polished work with minimal oversight.
- Manage assigned projects within Asana, including:
- Tracking deadlines and deliverables
- Updating task statuses proactively
- Communicating timeline risks early
- Ensuring files and final assets are properly attached, documented, and saved correctly
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, partnerships, events, competition) to translate goals into effective visual solutions.
- Maintain and organize design files, templates, and shared assets to support efficiency and scalability.
- Work with external vendors (printers, freelancers, agencies) as needed to prepare and deliver final assets.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional graphic design experience with a focus on branding, campaign creation, and visual communications. At least two (2) years project experience project managing vendors and contract designers. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva experience a plus.
- Strong command of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience preparing files for print and digital production.
- Experience managing projects in Asana or similar project management platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines independently.
- Clear communication skills and comfort working with non-design stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Experience with web design and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience in sports, lifestyle, or membership-based organizations.
- Knowledge of video production and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and email design.
