Summary:
Plans, directs, and coordinates the Nexus programing in the contracted region to maximize the business plan and to facilitate the overall Nexus strategic initiatives.
APPLICANT MUST LIVE IN REGION 7 OR 8 (CHESAPEAKE OR SOUTH)
Essential Job Functions:
Develop a network, within the contracted region’s hockey community, to support and promote the growth of the Nexus program.
- Implement overall Nexus marketing plan, in contracted region, to retain and acquire new Nexus participants.
- Implement and oversee all tasks associated with the delivery of the Nexus program in contracted region, to include, but not limited to; athlete registration and communication, facility management, assist with region training site staffing.
- Deliver the contracted regional selection camp weekend with coach manager counterpart.
- Implement all processes set forth in the Regional Nexus Managers handbook
- Meet strategic quarterly goals set with Sr. Manager Nexus Development
Other Job Functions:

- Performs all contracted duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Licensure & Certification: USA Field Hockey Level II coaching certification or willingness to complete in agreed upon time frame.
Qualifications:
Intimate understanding of field hockey landscape in the contracted region
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with co-workers, coaches, athletes, and the public

- High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
- Ability to communicate effectively in written or oral form.
- Ability to manage problems involving variables in standardized situations.
- A flexible team player with the ability to work successfully in a changing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams
- Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with policies, programs, and guidelines to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
- A flexible schedule to be in person or on call during training weekends.
NOTE: This is a part-time, Contractor role. Quarterly stipends paid based on metrics attained.
