Job Summary:

The Membership Services and Programs Coordinator maintains a comprehensive membership program while enhancing membership benefits for USA Fencing. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the membership experience for members. The Membership Services and Programs Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all members receive the highest level of service possible.

This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a focus on member satisfaction and continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will have a track record of success in membership services or a related field, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for creating exceptional member experiences.


Primary Responsibilities:

  •   Serves as the main point of contact for members. Providing front-line customer support through customer service software and phone calls. 
  •  Provide exceptional customer service to staff as well as members of USA Fencing.
  •   Implements membership programming to attract and retain members.
  •   Work with other departments to develop and coordinate membership events, activities, and programs.
  •  Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop membership-related content for the organization's website and social media channels.
  •  Manage membership data, including member profiles, dues payments, and membership renewals. 
  •  Assist with rating changes for local and divisional events. Ratings earned from local tournaments – gather information and post to website.
  •   Provide general program management to member benefit programs.
  •   This position will work closely with the Club and Division Services Coordinator role, ensuring our members receive the highest level of customer service. 
  •  Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications:
  •   Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field
  •  1 - 2 years of experience in membership services, customer service, or related field
  •   Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  •  Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams
  •   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and membership database management systems
  •  Familiarity with club membership and/or association membership preferred
  •   Strong customer service orientation and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with members and staff
Starting Hourly Range:
Hourly rate $24-$27 annually, commensurate with experience and location.
