POSITION SUMMARY
USA Lacrosse is looking for a Coordinator, National Teams to join the High Performance Department to provide administrative, logistical, and operational support for our National Teams and the Center for Sport Science & Safety. You will get to work alongside the Managers for our Women's and Men's National Teams and will do things like coordinate National Team travel logistics for athletes, coaches, and staff, maintain apparel and equipment inventory, provide special event support, and work on other special projects to support the team. You will collaborate and interact with our National Team athletes, coaches, and staff, as well as multiple departments within USA Lacrosse to ensure our National Teams have an exceptional experience and can focus on competing at a high-performance level.

A Typical Day Looks Like…
- Provides administrative, logistical, and operational support to assist the National Teams and Center for Sport Science & Safety. This includes, but is not limited to, responding to inquiries and handling business correspondence (via phone, email, and mail) and involving necessary internal and external constituents to obtain information and/or escalate matters as appropriate.
- Assists with maintaining the National Teams department calendar, scheduling meetings, and assisting with event planning, including arrangements for meal preparation, location logistics, etc. This includes working with USA Lacrosse's travel agency to coordinate necessary travel for our National Teams.
- Maintains and implements systems to optimize communication within the department, including, but not limited to, following established standard operating procedures (SOP's) and making recommendations for enhancements to departmental processes. This includes managing project planning and tasks using Teamworks, Salesforce, and Hudl.
- Oversee and manages online processes for event registrations, creates and formats documents, and executes necessary National Team event mailings.
- Attends meetings, prepares internal support materials, and takes meeting minutes.
- Tracks and maintains inventory of National Team equipment, apparel, and supplies, including ad hoc updates as shipments arrive, pre- and post-event inventory counts, and ongoing year-round monitoring.
- Maintains accurate budget documentation through preparing reimbursements, check requests forms, and invoices in relation to National Team travel and event expenses.
- Provides onsite event management and oversight for assigned National Team events, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in real time and/or escalating to the appropriate parties as needed.
- Coordinates post-event surveys and data collection to be used to evaluate National Team events and make data-driven business decisions.
Is This You…
- One (1) to three (3) years of administrative or operations experience in event planning and/or sports operations/management.
- Previous lacrosse experience and/or knowledge of the sport and/or knowledge and understanding of team sports preferred. Knowledge and/or experience working for a non-profit a plus.
- Intermediate computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Teamworks, Salesforce, and Hudl a plus and/or the aptitude to learn new programs and applications.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow up/through skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Ability to exercise the appropriate level of discretion and judgement with the capability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information and materials.
- Enthusiastic go-getter with a "roll up your sleeves" and "get it done" attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ability to pivot with changing priorities.
- Comfortable guiding others and giving directions in an event setting.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including availability to work nights and weekends based on event needs. This will include some overnight travel for National Teams events.
- Willingness to learn about the sport of lacrosse and appreciate the need to develop, grow, and fuel the growth of the sport with diversity, equity, and inclusion in mind.

Expected Hours of Work
This position is generally expected to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and occasionally requires longer hours or weekend work as related to events and other business needs. This is a hybrid position based in Sparks, MD. In non-peak months (February–May), the role typically includes three (3) days in the office and two (2) days remote. During our busiest season (June–January), the role can require more than three days per week in the office to support National Team events.
Compensation & Benefits Overview
The hourly pay range for this position is $18 to $20/hour, commensurate with experience, including eligibility for annual incentive pay of up to 10% of your annualized salary.

Travel Requirements
Travel will be necessary for up to 25% of the time. Travel would involve the following mode(s) of travel: car, train, or air. Some out of area and overnight travel will be expected.
