MARKETING OPERATIONS & EXPERIENCE INTERN
CLASSIFICATION Seasonal; Full-time Summer Internship
(Approximately 40 hours per week for ~12 weeks, May–July with flexibility into August)
FLSA Nonexempt
REPORTS TO Program Experience Manager. Intern will work closely with New Strategic Business Department along with Marketing, Creative, & Events Teams.
LOCATION Park City, Utah (Hybrid work schedule).
Interns will be responsible for their own housing and transportation arrangements
SALARY $20 / hour
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The Marketing Operations & Experience Intern will support initiatives that enhance member engagement, marketing effectiveness, and customer experience at U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Over the course of the summer, the intern will contribute to projects across email marketing, CRM segmentation, and member communications. Interns participate in a structured summer program that includes mentorship from department leaders, exposure to multiple teams across the organization, and professional development opportunities. The experience culminates in a final presentation highlighting project outcomes, insights, and recommendations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Assist with member welcome kit development and production, including copywriting, project coordination, vendor communication, and fulfillment planning.
● Support email marketing initiatives including drafting content, building templates, assisting with campaign execution, and tracking campaign performance.
● Contribute to CRM and data projects within Salesforce, including customer segmentation and improving customer journey workflows.
● Provide customer service and engagement support, responding to inquiries and identifying trends that may improve the member experience.
● Assist with consumer-facing initiatives and marketing projects, including occasional support for events or engagement campaigns.
● Support cross-functional marketing and engagement initiatives as needed.

Must be able to read, examine, and organize documents written in English. May require the ability to sit, stand, and walk around for extended periods of time. COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
● Current junior, senior, or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
● Strong interest in marketing technology, CRM platforms and email marketing tools.
● Strong written communication skills and ability to create clear, engaging content.
● Demonstrated analytical thinking and interest in segmentation and data analysis.
● Strong attention to detail.
● Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets for basic data analysis (sequel or python a plus).
● Experience with or interest in design tools such as Canva is preferred.
● Working knowledge of AI tools a plus.
● Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
