ACCOUNT MANAGER, PARTNERSHIP MARKETING
CLASSIFICATION Year-round; Full-time
FLSA Exempt
REPORTS TO Director, Partnership Marketing
LOCATION USANA Center of Excellence, Park City UT (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days per week)
TRAVEL 25%
SALARY $65-$70k

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The Account Manager is responsible for owning the day-to-day relationships with an assigned portfolio of commercial partners. This includes the planning and fulfillment of partner benefits such as brand integration, marketing campaigns, broadcast media, experiential displays, hospitality, licensing, recap reporting, among other areas.
This position is a key contributor to the team with 100% focus on the growth and retention of U.S. Ski & Snowboard partnerships. The Account Manager is expected to work cross-functionally and support the day-to-day operations of the department under the direction of the Director of Partnership Marketing.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
Account Management
- Lead day-to-day communications with an assigned portfolio of accounts to deliver high-impact activations and maximize value.
- Nurture relationships with key stakeholders and develop long-term partnerships.
- Be the subject matter expert on partner objectives, establishing deep category and industry knowledge.
- Oversee annual planning efforts by collaborating with key stakeholders to define season objectives, strategic initiatives, and activation calendar.
- Develop and execute campaigns specific to defined partner benefits and objectives across various U.S. Ski & Snowboard marketing and media channels, including but not limited to, on-site activation, social media, broadcast, digital, email, influencer networks, etc.
- Manage partner on-site activations, hospitality, and marketing programs at U.S. Ski & Snowboard events.
- Track status and delivery of partner assets and document proof of performance.
- Identify and champion collaboration opportunities across U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s portfolio of commercial partners.
- Identify and pursue athlete pass-through opportunities within partners’ wider organizational campaigns.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape to offer strategic insights.
Cross Functional Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally within the organization to deliver value and services that fulfill partner benefits.
- Support New Business initiatives and driving growth. This includes collaborating across departments to help create and implement sellable programs and solutions that help partners accomplish their goals.
- Support assigned U.S. Ski & Snowboard World Cup events, participating in Local Organizing Committee meetings, and ensure delivery of assets across all U.S. Ski & Snowboard commercial partnerships.
Reporting and Case Studies
- Conduct regular data analysis and generate reports across partners.
- Develop comprehensive season recap reports across partners.
- Develop case studies of impactful partner activations.
Financial Performance:
- Manage portfolio P&L and responsible for maintaining up-to-date forecasts.
- Drive growth to meet financial goals by driving renewals and exploring upsell opportunities within categories and companies.
- Nurture new partner opportunities with national and regional companies.
- Create revenue generating marketing programs for partners and identifying new marketing inventory.
- Additional contributions to overall success of the Marketing and Commercial Departments as needed.
- Live and breathe as a U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s champion – advocating for the organization, its sports, and over 230+ athletes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- The candidate will need the ability to work at COE and with other departments for 60% of time and may elect to work up to 40% from home or other locations.
- This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week (generally 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily) Monday - Friday.
- This is an exempt position, which requires travel to events and other ski/snowboard industry trade shows.
- Long periods of time using computers to maintain work – up to 8 hour/day sitting / standing at desk.
- Periods of time moving boxes, unpacking, processing, picking, and shipping of merchandise to distribution areas (trailer, COE, etc.).
- Able to carry heavy items up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and over 50 lbs. assisted.
- Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and maneuvering in all outside environments and w/in the merchandising trailer.
COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of expertise.
- Min. 3-5 years of experience in a full-time account management, and/or project planning/fulfillment role.
- Marketing agency and/or sponsorship marketing experience is preferred.
- Experience in sports and/or sporting events industry is a preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including at the executive and C-suite level.
- Strong written, verbal and time management skills.
- Proficiency with office management platforms (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience in project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheets, Airtable, Asana, Monday.com)
- Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Experience data analytics and reporting.
- Adaptable to evolving priorities.
- Driven, confident, proactive, goal oriented, enthusiastic.
- High level of professionalism (telephone etiquette, dress, promptness).
- Team player with proven track record of managing communications and projects cross functionally.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No fulltime supervisory responsibilities.
