JOB DESCRIPTION
ACCOUNT MANAGER, PARTNERSHIP MARKETING
 
CLASSIFICATION Year-round; Full-time
FLSA Exempt
REPORTS TO Director, Partnership Marketing
LOCATION USANA Center of Excellence, Park City UT
TRAVEL 25%
SALARY $50k-$55k
 
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE 
The Account Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with an assigned portfolio of commercial partners. This includes the planning and fulfillment of partner contractual benefits such as brand integration, marketing campaigns, experiential displays, hospitality, licensing, recap reporting, among other areas. 
 
This position is a key contributor to the team with 100% focus on the growth and retention of U.S. Ski & Snowboard partnerships. The Account Manager is expected to work cross-functionally and support the day-to-day operations of the department under the direction of the Director of Partnership Marketing.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Operational Excellence:
  1. Lead day-to-day communications with a select number of partners to deliver high-impact activations and maximize value.
  2. Oversee annual planning efforts by collaborating with key stakeholders to define partner sponsorship objectives, strategic initiatives, and activation calendar. 
  3. Manage the coordination, trafficking and reporting of the team’s partner broadcast inventory.
  4. Work cross-functionally within the organization to deliver value and services that fulfill partner benefits.
  5. Manage on-site activations, hospitality, and marketing programs at USSS events.
  6. Support new business initiatives and driving growth.  This includes collaborating across departments to help create and implement sellable programs and solutions that help partners accomplish their goals.
  7. Manage partner renewal planning process that includes establishing a deep category knowledge and understanding of partner objectives. 
  8. Develop and execute campaigns specific to defined partner benefits and objectives across various USSS media channels (e.g., broadcast, digital, social, PR, email).
  9. Draft case studies of impactful partner activations.
  10. Conduct data analysis and generate comprehensive recap reports for partners.
 
Financial Performance:
  1. Drive growth to meet financial goals by renewing contracts and exploring new opportunities within categories and companies.
  2. Nurture new partner opportunities with national and regional companies.
  3. Create revenue generating marketing programs for partners and identify new inventory.
  4. Additional contributions to overall success of the Marketing and Commercial Departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. The candidate will need the ability to work at COE and with other departments for 60% of time and may elect to work up to 40% from home or other locations. 
  2. This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week (generally 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily) Monday - Friday.  This is an exempt position, which requires travel to events and other ski/snowboard industry trade shows.
  3. Long periods of time using computers to maintain work – up to 8 hrs./day sitting / standing at desk.
  4. Periods of time moving boxes, unpacking, processing, picking, and shipping of merchandise to distribution areas (trailer, COE, etc.).
  5. Able to carry heavy items up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and over 50 lbs. assisted.
  6. Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and maneuvering in all outside environments and w/in the merchandising trailer.
 
COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of expertise.
  2. Proven experience in account management, marketing campaigns, and/or project planning/fulfillment. Sponsorship marketing experience is a plus. 
  3. Strong written, verbal and time management skills.
  4. Proficiency with office management platforms (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  5. General understanding of data analytics and reporting. 
  6. Adaptable to evolving priorities.
  7. Driven, confident, proactive, goal oriented, enthusiastic.
  8. High level of professionalism (telephone etiquette, dress, promptness).
  9. Team player with proven track record of managing communications and projects cross functionally. 
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • No fulltime supervisory responsibilities.
