United States Polo Association

Established in 1890, the United States Polo Association® (USPA) is the official governing body of the sport of polo in the United States. The largest voluntary sports organization for polo in North America, the USPA is dedicated to growing and improving the sport, supporting more than 200 member clubs and over 5,000 registered players nationwide. Its mission includes promoting the game, arranging and supervising competitions, providing rules, handicaps and tournament conditions, and advancing the welfare of both players and horses.

At the heart of American polo is the National Polo Center – Wellington (NPC), located in South Florida’s legendary horse country. Owned and operated by the USPA, NPC serves as the sport’s permanent home in the United States and showcases the Association’s premier event, the prestigious Gauntlet of Polo® from February to April each winter (Instagram: @nationalpolocenter, X: @natpolocener, Facebook: National Polo Center). The venue offers an unforgettable spectator experience, whether from stadium seats, private boxes, fieldside tailgates or VIP hospitality areas—all overlooking the iconic U.S. Polo Assn. Field One. NPC invites you to enjoy the best polo in the country, taking place at one of the most beautiful venues in the world. Join us in shaping the future of the sport!
