The Executive Project Manager is a trusted partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, driving strategic initiatives, optimizing operations, and ensuring alignment across the organization. This highly visible role blends executive support, project leadership, governance coordination, and strategic planning into one dynamic position.
You will act as a key liaison between leadership, board members, and external stakeholders—helping translate vision into action while ensuring priorities stay on track and outcomes are delivered.
What You’ll Do
Executive Leadership Support
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO, including proactive calendar management and preparation for key engagements
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling sensitive matters with discretion
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, optimizing logistics and cost efficiency
- Lead planning and execution of leadership meetings, strategic sessions, and external engagements
- Prepare presentations, agendas, and briefing materials, while tracking follow-ups and driving accountability
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects, ensuring timely and successful execution
Governance & Board Relations
- Manage all board administration, including meeting coordination, materials preparation, logistics, and documentation
- Support board member needs, including travel, expenses, and communications
- Act as a liaison between leadership and the board
Strategy & Organizational Planning
- Lead development and execution of organizational strategy and planning processes
- Facilitate annual, quarterly, and monthly planning sessions
- Build and maintain systems to track goals, priorities, and progress across the organization
- Ensure alignment between strategic plans, business goals, and execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive clarity, accountability, and results
What You Bring
- Proven experience developing and executing strategic initiatives
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional efforts
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams without direct authority
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting executive leadership and/or boards of directors
- Background in leadership, project management, or strategic roles (e.g., project lead, business analyst, strategy consultant)
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects from planning through execution
- Experience preparing executive-level reports, presentations, and briefings
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule: On-site in Colorado Springs, CO at least 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday), with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays
- Travel required for board meetings (up to four times per year)
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
- Additional travel as needed
