Zawyer Sports is seeking a strategic, experienced, and highly organized Senior Director or Vice President, Corporate Partnerships Activation to lead the execution of sponsorship programs across all properties. This senior leader will be responsible for building a best-in-class activation structure, ensuring consistent delivery, measurement, and fulfillment of all sponsor obligations across the portfolio.
The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with hands-on experience in partnership activation, team leadership, and process development within the sports and entertainment industry. They will work closely with partnership teams at each property and report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of corporate partnership activation across Zawyer Sports’ portfolio of teams and facilities.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and tools to manage sponsorship fulfillment, reporting, and quality control.
- Oversee, mentor, and train local activation teams at each property to ensure consistent excellence in execution.
- Encourage Activation team to upsell current partners and play a critical role in renewing partners
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for sponsorship activation, guiding teams on best practices for signage, promotions, media, digital media, hospitality, community programs, and experiential marketing.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure smooth handoff from sales to activation, maintaining clarity on deliverables and timelines.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for activation performance, providing regular reports and insights to the CRO and senior leadership.
- Partner with marketing, game operations, and digital teams to integrate sponsor activations seamlessly into the fan experience.
- Identify opportunities to enhance partner ROI and create innovative activation concepts that drive measurable results.
- Manage relationships with key partners when necessary, serving as an executive point of contact for top-tier accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in partnership activation or brand marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven success in developing and leading multi-property or multi-market activation strategies.
- Deep understanding of sponsorship fulfillment including signage, digital, broadcast, promotional, and hospitality elements.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable systems and processes that improve efficiency and accountability.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to Zawyer Sports’ teams and facilities.
