Position: Director of Corporate Partnerships

Reports to: Chief Revenue Office 
Job Description:
The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for overseeing and executing corporate partnerships efforts on behalf of Zawyer Sports. Basic functions include extensive sales, development, and servicing of corporate partnerships while maintaining high levels of client service and client retention.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Prospect, sell, cultivate, and maintain sponsorships and corporate partnerships in both new and existing business
  • Solicit new cash partnerships
  • Achieve established sales goals and budgets as set by the Chief Revenue Officer
  • Make cold calls and budget-relieving trade sales presentations for the property
  • Oversee, coordinate, and execute corporate partnership fulfillment
  • Create season recap summaries for corporate partners
  • Service all corporate sponsorships through direct contact and corporate partner events
  • Create new client initiatives to better serve corporate partners
  • Design sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners
  • Create and implement new ideas/opportunities that drive revenue
  • Collaborate with the marketing department on opportunities to cross-sell corporate partners
  • Track prospective sales and inventory throughout the season
  • Work and attend events, promotions, and Sales and Marketing events

Required Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in sponsorship sales preferably in the collegiate or professional sports marketplace, or with an arena or special event venue
  • Knowledge of advanced sales, marketing, and media relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, PC-based graphic arts, and ad creation programs
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during events as required
