 The UPSHOT League is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Strength & Conditioning/Equipment Intern to assist with daily team operations. This role is heavily focused on equipment management and logistics, with additional support in the weight room during team training sessions. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in a professional basketball environment while working closely with coaching staff and athletes.

Primary Responsibilities 
Equipment & Operations:
  • Manage daily laundry operations after practices and games
  • Organize, distribute, and maintain all practice and game gear
  • Track and manage equipment inventory (uniforms, basketballs, accessories, etc.)
  • Assist with packing/unpacking gear for practices, games, and travel (if applicable)
  • Monitor and restock team supplies and groceries as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of locker room and storage areas

Strength & Conditioning:
  • Assist with supervising athletes during lift sessions
  • Help ensure proper exercise technique and safety
  • Support setup and breakdown of training equipment
  • Reinforce coaching cues provided by strength staff

Qualifications
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to handle behind-the-scenes responsibilities
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, carrying, laundry, setup)
  • Interest in sports performance, coaching, management, or team operations
  • Previous experience in equipment, athletics, or S&C is a plus (not required)
