Zawyer Sports (Savannah Ghost Pirates Hockey) Control Room Staffing Positions
Zawyer Sports & Entertainment are in search of broadcast operators of all experience levels in the Savannah area for Live-Event & Studio Production. Ghost Pirates home games are produced in-house by Zawyer Sports (Ghost Pirates Staff), the team is responsible for video, audio, graphic and talent operations. Below are the positions and areas available:
LIVE PRODUCTION:
- TD/Video Switcher – Operates the Tricaster switcher, taking directions from the Show Director. Overseeing scheduled production on Hockey Game Days.
- Live Camera Operator – Operates one of the broadcast camera positions during a Ghost Pirates Games or other events as needed.
- DAtronics Graphics Operator – Operates the DAKtronics Display Studio graphics player for main scoreboard and LED Ribbons. This position would load-in daily content/graphics, update the score bug.
- Replay Operator – Operates the 3Play Instant Replay software and controller for playback in arena and on the live stream.
We are looking for reliable, creative, open-minded team players who can take direction and are interested in being a part of our live game crews.
Requirements:
- Can take direction and hold place as a part of a large working team.
- Previous experience preferred in position of interest.
- Able to work long event days depending on position.
- Each position demands different physical requirements, ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, move with pace around the building, able to travel via stairs and stay on feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to work events outside of Ghost Pirates games.
- Experience in other live events (concerts, sports, studio work) a plus.
