The Ghost Pirates are seeking a Public Address Announcer! As Public
Address Announcer, you will serve as the in-arena voice giving our Team fans critical game
and arena information, as well as work in tandem with the game presentation team to
deliver a high-level game experience.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Serve as live voice for all home games, including pregame introductions, starting
lineups, in game announcements, sponsor reads, and other critical information as
necessary
• Bring enthusiasm, clarity, and personality that reflects the Team Brand to enhance
the hockey experience for a brand-new audience by being a trusted voice for the
fans to understand hockey and events as they happen
• Work alongside Game Presentation Team including music, video, and production
staff to coordinate in-game elements and crowd interaction
• Undertake necessary preparation for each game, including knowledge of home and
away rosters, proper pronunciation of names and familiarity with game script
Qualifications:
• Strong, Clear, and Energetic voice with excellent pronunciation
• Ability to follow scripts
• Ability to be flexible and understand in-game flow for best presentation
• Understanding hockey and game events.
• Available to work all 36 home games, and potential playoff games
• Ability to be flexible and understand in-game flow for best presentation
• Previous PA experience is a plus*
