OBJECTIVE:
The Savannah Ghost Pirates Hockey Team & Savannah Steel Basketball Team is seeking a self-starter who possesses superior listening and communication skills and is eager to grow their career in sports by providing top-tier service to our fans and customers through our 2026 Summer Ghost Pirates & Steel Internship. This is an unpaid internship with opportunity for school credit. An intern will have the chance to experience a Savannah Steel Basketball season as well as assist with preparations for the following Ghost Pirates hockey season. This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge from many angles and departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with our fan base and customers 
  • Assisting fans by answering questions and trouble shooting as needed
  • Set up face-to-face appointments with key decision makers of community and corporate groups as needed
  • Staff tables for Savannah Steel games and events 
  • Work Steel home games to support ticket service & support initiatives
  • Update accounts on CRM System 
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all internal and external contacts
  • Support a positive culture within the entire front office
  • Other duties & tasks as assigned

  •  Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
