Job Title: Merchandise Inventory Coordinator

Reports To: Sr .Manager, Merchandise
SCOPE AND NATURE OF ROLE:
The Merchandise Coordinator plays a key role in the success of the Greensboro Gargoyles merchandise operations by managing inventory across multiple locations. This individual will ensure all merchandise is accurately tracked, efficiently distributed, and well-organized to support both in-person and online retail channels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage and track inventory levels across multiple retail locations (arena store, stock areas, kiosks, etc.)
· Oversee the distribution and transfer of merchandise between locations as needed
· Maintain all merchandise inventory and inventory supplies in a neat and organized fashion
· Perform regular spot checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and immediately communicate any concerns to Sr. Manager
· Receive incoming merchandise shipments; verify contents and ensure proper documentation
· Price and tag merchandise prior to distribution to sales floor or online inventory
· Maintain an organized and efficient stockroom and inventory areas
· Assist in online store operations, including inventory updates and product listing updates as needed
· Manage the fulfillment of online orders in a timely and accurate manner
· Support merchandise sales operations on game days and during special events
· Works with retail associates and leads to create unique and organized merchandise displays
· Assist with product setup, restocking, and customer service during events
· Participate in product development for new Savannah Ghost Pirates merchandise
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors degree in business or sports management preferred.
· 1-3 years experience in inventory management, retail or a related field
· Ability to multitask on simultaneous projects with varying deadlines
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Comfortable using Microsoft Office, inventory management software and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
· Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays (especially during the hockey season)
Bonus Skills:
· Experience with Lightspeed or other POS/e-commerce platforms
· Knowledge of hockey or sports merchandising
· Commercial drivers license
