The Ghost Pirates Ice Cove’s goal is to create transformational experiences for hockey players and their families in a fun, safe and positive learning environment. Our staff is committed to providing beginners to experienced players with age-appropriate elite programming while creating lifelong memories and friendships. We strive to grow the sport of ice hockey in the region and seek to positively impact the Port Wentworth/Savannah community and hockey world.

Role - We are looking for a Youth Hockey Coordinator that wants to give back to the game, be a role model for our players and hunger to impact people's lives using the game of ice hockey as their vehicle.

Scope of Work

●        Management and execution of the player pathway entry point of “Learn to Play” on and off the ice
●        Management and execution of the REC program including  clinics, camps, practices, coaches, game scores, schedule 
●        Assist with travel hockey coaching and practices with the potential to head coach 1-2 travel teams
●        Assist with all Ice Cove hockey operations
 
Requirements when hired

●        Background Check cleared 
●        Safesport Certified
●        Positive Coaching Alliance
●        USA Hockey Certification

Recommendations 

●        Experience playing ice hockey and or coaching 3-5+ years
●        Understanding of USA Hockey, American Development Model (ADM)
●        Experience working with children (or adults if applicable) 

Ability to work nights and weekends.
