Position: Learn to Skate Coordinator
Department: Ice Cove Figure Skating Department
Reports To: Skating Manager
Employment Type: Full Time
The Ghost Pirates Ice Cove is seeking a highly organized and guest focused Learn to Skate (LTS) Coordinator to support the daily operations and growth of our Learn to Skate program. This role is essential to delivering exceptional skating experiences and ensuring strong coordination between skating programs, rink operations, and guest services through lead and Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage.

Scope of Work
· Coordinate daily Learn to Skate operations including registration, scheduling, and communication
· Assist with on-ice staffing assignments and instructor support
· Track testing, skill progressions, attendance, and customer inquiries
· Support seasonal programming and special events such as camps and showcases
· Assist with parent communication, onboarding new skaters, and issue resolution
· Ensure program alignment with Learn to Skate USA standards and Ice Cove policies
Cross Department / MOD Responsibilities
· Serve as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) or lead staff during assigned shifts
· Support front desk operations, rink flow, and guest services
· Assist with facility opening/closing procedures and safety checks
· Act as a facility-wide point of contact to ensure consistent guest experience
Requirements
· Background check cleared
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to work collaboratively across departments
· Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
Recommendations
· Experience with Learn To Skate USA Instruction
· Prior experience in program coordination, customer service and staff management
Ability to work nights, weekends and occasional travel.
