The Partnership Marketing Specialist will be managing, implementing and track all existing tenant and corporate partner relationships and ensure all contractual obligations are being fulfilled, activated and reporting for commercial retail tenants and corporate partners.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage, implement and track all existing tenant and partner relationships and ensure all contractual obligations are being fulfilled, activated and reported for commercial retail tenants and corporate partners. Support the business development pipeline strategy.
  • Conduct market research, identify sales targets and contact information for key decision makers, tracks pipeline status.
  • Plan, schedule, and support prospect meetings and tours.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Build solid relationships with day-to-day clientele, as well as internally with all associates of District divisions.
  • The Specialist, Partnership Marketing will manage a portfolio of tenants, corporate partners, overseeing daily relationship management and delivery of contractual assets
  • As the key account person, the Manager will play a central role in delivering the highest level of client service to ensure that effective programs are created and executed, and will serve as point person for all partner related topics within the organization
  • The Manager will have a thorough understanding of their clients’ business goals and will leverage information to grow the business
  • Lead day-to-day communication with select clients, including:
  •        Leading weekly calls (including creating agendas and providing recap notes)
  •        Interface with internal departments on partners programs as needed
  •        Address issues and provide solutions to meet partner needs
  •        Serve as an internal expert and resource on managed partners.
  •        Facilitate special requests as needed.
  •        Support renewal and growth efforts of current partner contracts and provide strategic insights based on partner conversations, history and relationships.
  • Proactively generate new ideas for new sponsorship opportunities.
  • Effectively present information to sponsors and internal stakeholders to proactively answer any questions that arise.
  • Fiscally responsible for the day-to-day management of program budgets and ensuring that sponsor promotions are within budget.
  • Oversee creative approval of all partner assets, ensuring submissions are brand compliant and in-line with contractual guidelines.
  • In conjunction with Media team, assist with the oversight and implementation of partner specific digital, social, and content programs.
  • Maintain partner information in CRM database, ensuring partner contacts, billing information, and assets are entered correctly and updated as needed.
  • Oversee partner hospitality events.
  • Represent PM on internal task forces as needed.
  • Lead special projects as requested by Director/Vice President
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as this position includes working nights and weekends.

  • Creative strategist with the ability to provide solutions that address client needs.
  • Strong background in strategic brand and partnership marketing.
  • Strong understanding of entertainment sponsorships, including promotions, events, media and contracts. High-level of commitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.·         Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strategic selling experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and creatively solve day-to-day challenges.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace on both a local and national level.
  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail and outstanding project management skills
  • Self-motivated and solution-driven who thrives in a high-energy setting and is able to move and adapt quickly.
  • Team player, able to work alongside and interact professionally with co-workers, clients, customers, tenants and vendors.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), social media platforms (Tik Tok a plus); Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.

Supervisor Responsibilities
 ·         This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management or in Business Administration, and 2+ years’ experience managing partnerships and the planning and execution.

Working Conditions
 Physical DemandsCandidate will be in different environments constantly.  Sometimes in an office setting spending long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers which can cause muscle strain. At other times the position could require working outside standing for long periods and exposed to outside elements. Environmental ConditionsCandidate may have to work on several projects at one time and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of supervisors, executives, vendors, clients and contractors. Environment can be busy and noisy.  Excellent organizational, time and stress management skills will be needed to complete the required tasks.
