Van Wagner’s Sports & Entertainment’s (VWSE) Team & Venue Services division is seeking an experienced technology oriented Assistant Project Manager to assist in the day-to-day operations in Detroit.

The Assistant Project Manager is to deliver support to the Project Manager (PM) in delivering construction projects, which meet or exceed VWSE’s goals by properly supporting the management of the process, the relationships, clients, and sub-contractors. This includes supporting the Project Manager with: project set up, project execution, project activation, financial management, and people development and vendor relationship management.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education and Requirements:

Construction related degree and/or 3+ years’ experience in construction industry.
Self-motivator, as well as, team player
High achiever, creative and analytical thinker
Excellent time and project management skills, as well as, presentation skills
Knowledge in Microsoft project, excel and related tools
Proficiency in CAD or Revit a plus
Data warehousing, analysis and analytics experience
