Player Operations: Official
Oversee USATF officials’ program, including recruitment, retention and certification process. Liaise with the USATF National Officials’ Committee and support as needed. 

  • Serve as liaison for the National Officials Committee. 
  • Create and develop a unified web page of recruiting resources and working with internal teams to develop a management system for Official Certifications. 
  • Create marketing material for recruitment, and for new and existing officials. 
  • Maintain the USATF website with current Certification Chair contact information and other requests from the NOC 
  • Oversee the management and distribution of Officials uniforms, distributing as needed and annual reorders 
  • Coordinate ID badge production and distribution. 
  • Update official profiles to reflect new uniforms and/or ID badges being shipped 
  • Order and distribute official memorabilia, including generic certified official pins and event gear
  •  Provide Customer Service to new and existing certified officials via e-mail and phone. 
  • Oversee Official services at USATF National Championships
  •  A bachelor’s degree is preferred. 
  • 1-3 years’ experience providing excellent customer service. 
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to new tools. 
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong team player and ability to work cooperatively with others. 
  • Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment. 
  • Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills and able to multi-task. 
  • Must be able to pass a USATF background screen and drug test.   
  • Experience as a USATF Certified Official is preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.  Ability to stand for long periods of time at events.  Sit for more than 6 hours per shift.

Travel several times per year (including weekend travel).
