About Zero Gravity Basketball – Zero Gravity was born out of the need for every team at every grade level, boys & girls, in each club basketball program, to have a fun and professional tournament -experience each week. We have a simple mission: every basketball player (boy or girl) can play on a great stage, against the appropriate competition, in great venues with safe atmospheres, in an organized fashion on a weekly basis.

Job Description:
The Zero Gravity DMV Regional Director is a full-time position based out of our corporate office in Woburn, MA, starting January 12th, 2026. The DMV Regional Director will work under the guidance of ZG leadership to plan and implement events and tournaments on a weekly basis. Regional Directors will have a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to: market strategy, scheduling, operations, logistics, pricing strategy, customer relationship management, on-site operations, managing a part-time staff & much more.
ZG Regional Directors are expected to act in a leadership role while working with club directors, facility staff, referee assignors, regional media contacts, social media/content teams and more to coordinate weekly tournaments that fit the needs of youth coaches/players in their assigned market. In addition, ZG Regional Directors are expected to serve as a resource for their clients & partners to connect with other nationally respected partners of Zero Gravity to grow their network, event schedule and key contacts within the industry.
The current DMV Region of Zero Gravity Basketball is a collection of 10-15 events throughout the Spring Grassroots Basketball Calendar, spanning from Baltimore, MD to Virginia Beach, VA. As our Regional lead, you will lead the exploration of growth opportunities for the company in new market opportunities, additional tournament opportunities within current markets and potential new event concept implementation.
Duties Include:
- Responsible for communicating with all major customers and selling events/tournament slots to customers and teams
- Working directly with Zero Gravity’s leadership team on market strategy including, but not limited to: setting season schedules, projecting facility needs, implementing new market strategies
- Scheduling all events within region
- Registering and collecting payments from our vast customer base on a weekly basis
- Assisting with venue/facility setup and breakdown. Acting as a Site/Tournament Director at tournaments during Spring & Fall youth basketball seasons.
- Manage a part-time staff of 2-3+ interns throughout the year
- Drive revenue growth through building/maintaining strong customer relationships
- Implement market-leading social media strategies to fuel customer satisfaction and revenue growth
- Communicate with multiple departments (marketing, operations, accounting, Human Resources) on any needs for your region
Desired Characteristics:
- Major in Business, Marketing, Sport Management or a related field
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in a full-time capacity
- Background in sales or customer relationship management
- Ability to be a leader in office setting and communicate with multiple people across departments
- Ability to work in an extremely demanding, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior event management experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Able to work extended hours including nights and weekends
- Willing to travel frequently to various locations including New England, New York, Mid-Atlantic or Southern Regions
