About MOD Volleyball
MOD Volleyball is one of the nation’s premier youth volleyball clubs, built on three pillars:
  • Excellence in training – elite, innovative volleyball instruction.
  • Unmatched communication & organization – clear, proactive support for families and coaches.
  • Care for the whole athlete & family – developing great people, not just great players.
We are lifelong learners who love this sport and believe volleyball changes lives. Our coaches are central to creating transformational experiences for athletes and families.

The Role
As a MOD Volleyball Coach, you will lead and inspire athletes ages 10–18 while shaping their growth both on and off the court.
  • Season length: 4–7 months depending on program
  • Practices: typically, times per week, ~2 hours each
  • Competition: 1–2 tournaments per month on weekends
  • Work within a collaborative, well-supported structure that includes seven full-time directors and strong collegiate coaching ties
  • Access ongoing coach education and mentorship from an experienced and passionate staff.
  • Options for more or less time-commitment depending on program.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead engaging, high-energy practices. Stay actively involved on the court—offering continuous, positive feedback and guidance—while reinforcing skills, systems, and a love for the game.
  • Build trust and positive relationships with athletes and families.
  • Model professionalism, punctuality, and a growth mindset.
  • Collaborate with fellow MOD coaches to keep training innovative and consistent with club standards.

What We’re Looking For
  • Passion for volleyball and for mentoring young athletes.
  • Volleyball background (playing and/or coaching) preferred.
  • Professional and reliable, with transportation to all practices and tournaments.
  • Leadership experience—for example, team captain, teaching, management, etc.—helpful but not required.
  • Commitment to the full team schedule.
