Our new Treasury Manager will operate in a HYBRID capacity from our Glenview, IL location. Local candidates only will be considered.
Position Overview 
The Treasury Manager strategically manages 3STEP Sports' financial resources and contributes to the overall financial health supporting stability and growth.  This key finance leader is responsible for the organization’s overall cash management, banking relationships, debt administration, and investment activities in addition to ensuring optimal liquidity and efficient handling of cash inflows and outflow. 

Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Cash Management & Cash Flow Statements: Oversee daily cash balances, monitor cash positions, and manage short-term investments to maximize returns. Prepare and analyze cash flow statements, forecasting future cash needs and recommending strategies to ensure liquidity.
  • Manage Bank Accounts and Banking Relationships: Open, maintain, and close bank accounts as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for all banking partners. Negotiate banking fees and terms to optimize the organization’s financial arrangements, ensuring secure and efficient banking operations.
  • Debt Management: Administer existing credit facilities, monitor covenant compliance, and manage debt service payments. Evaluate new debt opportunities and refinancing options, providing recommendations to senior management and maintaining documentation and schedules.
  • Oversee Investment Activity & Liquidity Reporting: Supervise the company’s investment portfolio, ensuring investments align with corporate policy and risk tolerance. Generate regular liquidity reports, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable (AP): Collaborate closely with the AP team to align payment terms and cash outflows with cash position and forecasts. Implement strategies to optimize working capital and negotiate payment terms with vendors as needed.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in treasury management systems, financial software (including advanced Excel), and potentially ERP systems.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicating complex financial information to diverse audiences. 
Requirements 
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • An MBA or a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is ideal.
  •  5-10 years of experience in treasury management or corporate finance.
  • Demonstrated success in financial analysis, accounting, and banking.
