Employment Type: Full-time
Location: HYBRID with 1-2 onsite days/week in Glenview, IL - LOCAL Candidates will only be considered
Travel: Occasional travel to our sites and events
Position Overview
3STEP Sports is looking for a Product Manager to actively support our proprietary software technology, PlayerFirst Tech (PFT). This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise to an industry leading application that is relied on by tens of thousands of parents and athletes every day. You will support the development and execution of product design and strategies with a focus on Data Integrations and Integrity Focus to drive the success of PlayerFirst's offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Product ownership of all external and internal data integrations
- Own data integration roadmap
- Define data requirements
- Focus on system and data quality
- Contribute to the planning and launch of new features or products
- Help ensure products align with customer needs and business objectives, contributing to overall company growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, data team, engineering, marketing, operations, and customer success) to gather and analyze customer feedback, define product requirements, and assist in prioritizing features for development
- Monitor market trends
- Help evaluate product performance metrics
Requirements
- BS/BA degree preferred
- 3-7 years of experience in the following:
- Data Product Management background with software application products
- Design literacy and communication of a product roadmap
- Prioritizing features based on business value and user impact
- Acting as the bridge between user needs and technical implementation
- Translating technical information to non-technical audiences
- Technical expertise in software development with mobile and web software applications as well as back-end and front-end services is a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Self-organized and comfortable engaging in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast paced work environments
