Position Overview
The Sales Manager will lead revenue growth for multiple brands within 3Step Lacrosse by driving event sales, and program participation. This role requires a highly motivated, relationship-driven professional who understands the youth lacrosse industry and can execute both strategic and tactical sales initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, events, and club leadership to expand our footprint, increase participation, and build long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across events, regions, and organizations.
- Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities (brands, teams, organizations)
- Drive team and player participation in tournaments, showcases, and leagues
Partnership Development
- Build and manage relationships with corporate partners and vendors
- Create customized partnership packages aligned with brand and event objectives
- Maintain high retention and satisfaction across all accounts and events
Event & Program Sales
- Collaborate with club directors to maximize registration and revenue
- Support pricing strategy, packaging, and promotional initiatives
- Identify opportunities to upsell premium experiences and services
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting
- Analyze sales data to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities
- Report on KPIs including revenue, conversion rates, and retention
Minimum Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of sales experience (sports, events, or youth athletics preferred)
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Experience in sponsorship sales, event sales, or lacrosse club/team engagement is a plus
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel for events, meetings, and tournaments
- Must have valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 pounds
Preferred Experience
- Background in lacrosse or familiarity with the club/travel sports landscape
- Experience selling into youth sports organizations or families
- Existing network within lacrosse, recruiting, or club sports communities
