About the Position
Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Onsite based in Glenview, IL
Travel: Occasional travel to our sites and events
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on HR Professional with a Generalist background who will provide day-to-day operational business support as well as administrative implementation of our HR related practices. This position is a highly autonomous and collaborative role that engages with various functional areas and business units across the company.
Key Responsibilities
HR Execution
- Administer the day-to-day human resource activities, practices and projects while aligning with company objectives and policies as well as state and federal requirements.
- Assist with implementation and management of human resource policies, programs and processes such as regulatory and other legal compliance, performance development and management, compensation and benefits.
- Support the process for goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback, and improvement plans.
- Execute the administration of the HRIS system, workers compensation, employee relations, safety, hiring, training, company culture, event planning and more.
- Communicate and educate HR policies and procedures to ensure there is an understanding as well as compliance.
- Engage in problem solving, decision-making, and guide managers with resolving their people challenges, employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Act as the backup to other team members’ responsibilities.
Operational Business Partnership
- Listen to and collaborate with leadership to understand their goals and challenges.
- Build relationships with people throughout the organization to understand what they think is working well and what obstacles they face.
- Liaise between HR and other business units to help with people related matters.
- Assist with organizational change initiatives, mergers, acquisitions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. Relevant HR professional certifications are helpful.
- 3-5 years’ experience in highly detailed administrative support roles for a multi-site service focused organization.
- A position within HR or interacting with HR is preferred.
- Proactively anticipate customer needs and offer solution options.
- Business, leadership or entrepreneurial exposure is ideal.
- MS Office, HRIS system or other systems experience is required.
- Data literacy and digital agility are a bonus.
