About the Position
Job Title: Human Resources Generalist (HR Generalist)
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Onsite based in Woburn, MA OR Glenview, IL (Remote on Fridays)
Travel: Occasional travel to our sites and events
Position Overview
We are seeking an early career HR Generalist who will execute day-to-day operational business activities as well as administer the implementation of our HR related practices. This position is a highly autonomous and collaborative role that engages with HR team members, various functional areas and business units across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the day-to-day human resource activities, practices and projects while aligning with company objectives and policies as well as state and federal requirements.
- Assist with implementation and management of human resource policies, programs and processes such as regulatory and other legal compliance, employee relations, performance development and management, benefits and compensation, recruitment and onboarding.
- Communicate and educate HR policies and procedures to ensure there is an understanding as well as compliance.
- Support onsite meetings, events, and greeting new hires.
- Maintain employee electronic records and administer HR software and systems.
- Act as the backup to other team members’ responsibilities.

Requirements
- This is an early career level position for someone who is currently in an HR position with a total of 2-3 years’ experience in HR.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- MS Office, HRIS system or other systems experience is required.
