About the Position
Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator (HR Coordinator)
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Onsite based in Woburn, MA OR Glenview, IL (Remote on Fridays)
Travel: Occasional travel to our sites and events 
 
Position Overview
We are seeking an entry level HR Coordinator with strong communication skills who wants to learn the business of HR and Sports. Our new HR Coordinator joins the human resources team in an administrative support role focused on executing day-to-day operational business activities as well as administering and implementing our HR related practices.  The HR Coordinator is a highly autonomous and collaborative role that engages with our people, HR team members, various functional areas and business units across the company.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Assist with administering the day-to-day human resource activities, practices and projects while aligning with company objectives and policies as well as state and federal requirements.
  • Communicate internally with all positions in the organization as well as external vendors.
  • Maintain and update employee records such as new hire onboarding, benefits information, leave requests and separations throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide immediate attention and excellent customer service to our people.
  • Support onsite events, meetings, activities such as introducing new hires.
  • Utilize HR software (HRIS/Human Resources Information System) and other system platforms.
  • Adapt to the constantly changing needs of the business and people.
  • Act as the backup to other team members’ responsibilities.

Requirements
  • This is an entry level position for someone who has recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business or communications
  • Sports experience or exposure is essential.
  • Service industry background is important.
  • Skills desired: interpersonal, organizational, attention to detail, and time management.
  • MS Office proficiency and ability to work with data and analytics is required.
