Job Title: Corporate Accountant-Senior

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Accountant Professional to join our Finance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and assisting with internal and external audits. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of corporate accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven corporate environment. Occasional extended hours during close periods or audits may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support schedules as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations between entities.
- Participate in variance analysis and provide explanations to management.
- Coordinate and support external audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Maintain and improve documentation of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
- Mentor or provide guidance to junior accountants as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
