This is a unique opportunity to architect, build, and lead a state-of-the-art, purpose-built media technology platform from the ground up. As a key leader within TSE's technology organization, you will be responsible for spearheading the implementation of an intelligent media ecosystem powered by Generative AI, VAST Data storage, NVIDIA accelerated computing, and Microsoft Azure cloud services. The ideal candidate is a unique blend of four distinct personas: a hands-on Technologist-Architect, a service-oriented Partner-Collaborator, a passionate Advocate-Evangelist for innovation, and a gifted Communicator-Translator. You will be the central figure in transforming how TSE creates, manages, and activates its vast library of digital assets, directly enabling our mission to become a global, award-winning sports and entertainment leader.

Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic & Architectural Leadership
  • Develop, own, and execute the long-term technology roadmap for TSE's intelligent media ecosystem, ensuring alignment with our overarching business strategy and goals.
  • Serve as the principal architect for the integrated VAST Data, NVIDIA, and Microsoft Azure platform, making key decisions on technology, design, and implementation to ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performance environment.
  • Lead the continuous research, evaluation, and integration of emerging Generative AI technologies, models, and methodologies to maintain TSE's competitive edge and future-proof our operations.1
  • Develop and manage the annual capital and operational budgets for the media ecosystem, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and delivering a clear return on investment.

Ecosystem Implementation & Operations
  • Lead the hands-on implementation, deployment, and lifecycle management of the end-to-end media data pipeline, from content ingest and processing to AI-powered analysis, enrichment, and distribution.
  • Establish and oversee robust MLOps practices for the training, fine-tuning, deployment, and monitoring of custom generative models on TSE's proprietary data, leveraging tools within the NVIDIA and Azure AI platforms.
  • Ensure the ecosystem is secure, scalable, resilient, and compliant with all relevant data governance, digital rights management, and ethical AI policies
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and robust incident management processes to minimize downtime and optimize service availability for all creative and broadcast operations.

Creative Partnership & Workflow Integration
  • Act as the primary technology partner and strategic advisor to TSE’s digital, creative, broadcast, and marketing teams, embedding yourself to deeply understand their workflows, content needs, and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate directly with creative stakeholders to design, prototype, and implement AI-driven tools and workflows that accelerate content creation, automate metadata tagging, enable intelligent search, and unlock new creative possibilities.
  • Champion the adoption of the new platform across the organization, acting as an evangelist for its capabilities and providing comprehensive training, documentation, and support to drive user engagement and proficiency.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team of engineers and specialists responsible for building and maintaining the media ecosystem. Internal and external.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving that is deeply aligned with TSE's core values of accountability, courage, excellence, impact, inclusion, and passion.
  • Own and manage the strategic relationships with our key technology partners, including VAST Data, NVIDIA, Cisco and Microsoft, ensuring TSE maximizes the value of these partnerships.

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Experience
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in technology leadership, with at least 3-5+ years in a senior or lead role overseeing media technology, data engineering, MLOps, or AI/ML systems architecture.
  • A proven and demonstrable track record of successfully architecting and delivering large-scale, complex technology projects from concept through to production, preferably within a high-volume media, broadcast, sports, or entertainment environment.
  • This role requires a unique, hybrid expertise across media workflows, high-performance computing, data engineering, and applied AI. Candidates will likely have a background in R&D at a major media company, a high-end VFX studio, or a solutions architecture role at a leading technology vendor (e.g., NVIDIA, Microsoft, AWS).

Technical Architecture & Engineering Expertise

Must have strong experience with cloud storage solutions, with Microsoft Azure being strongly preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and experience with Adobe's APIs for workflow automation and integration with DAM/MAM systems.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with the NVIDIA AI platform, including GPU-accelerated computing (CUDA), the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite, and key frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).

  • Strong, current understanding of modern AI architectures and techniques, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and agentic AI systems.
  • Proficiency in MLOps, CI/CD principles, and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform).

Leadership & Collaboration Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a bridge and translator between highly technical engineering teams and creative, non-technical stakeholders. Must show evidence of building strong, collaborative partnerships that lead to successful technology adoption.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling technology vision and report on progress and ROI to executive leadership.
  • Proven experience as a change agent and evangelist, with a history of successfully driving the adoption of new technologies and workflows within a complex organization.
