Position Summary
The Venue Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the 24-hour security operations of all TSE venues including Bank of America Stadium, Team practice facilities and surrounding property. This role ensures the safety and security of all guests, staff, and assets by leading a team of full-time and part-time security officers. The Venue Security Manager will develop strategic security policies, implement risk mitigation strategies, and coordinate incident response efforts to maintain a secure environment for all events and daily operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all full-time and part-time security officers and ensure adequate staffing for 24-hour security operations.
- Develop and maintain strategic scheduling for security shifts to ensure full coverage.
- Create and enforce post orders for all security positions, ensuring clarity of duties and expectations.
- Ensure all security officers receive proper training for their assigned responsibilities.
- Conduct ongoing professional development and scenario-based training exercises.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular campus risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies to maintain a safe environment.
- Ensure security personnel adhere to established policies and maintain accountability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for security incidents and emergencies.
- Develop and execute emergency response protocols, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, after-action reviews, and communication for key stakeholders.
- Oversee CCTV monitoring operations and investigations related to security incidents.
- Implement proactive safety initiatives to enhance venue security.
- Monitor trends in security risks and recommend improvements.
- Assist in managing the security department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective staffing and resource allocation.
- Oversee procurement and maintenance of security equipment and technology.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in security management, preferably in a large-scale venue, stadium, or facility.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and risk assessment strategies.
- Proven leadership experience managing security teams and operations
- Experience working with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders.
- Proficiency in CCTV systems, access control technology, and incident reporting software.
- Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Must be able to manage confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens.

Work Environment(s)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for events and 24-hour security operations.
- Position may require standing for long periods and responding to on-site security situations.
- This job operates mostly in a sports facility environment which may include inclement weather conditions. The job may operate in an office environment as well.
