The Corporate Partnership Marketing Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to launch a career with the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC. This intensive 12-month program is a chance to gain insight into our Corporate Partnership Marketing team.
 
This fellow will be responsible for supporting the department in the development and execution of the organization’s corporate partnerships. This will be an opportunity to experience the day-to-day operations of the department by assisting in contract fulfillment through hospitality, partner activation, and proof of performance documentation.
 
This Fellowship has been established with the goal of developing a diverse talent in the Corporate Partnership space.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of current partner promotions, including in-game, retail, digital and traditional media
  • Assist the Corporate Partnership Marketing team with fulfilment and execution of partner assets for five (5) corporate partners at a minimum. Serve as primary contact for all assigned accounts including responsibility for overall day-to-day account management consisting of contract activation and fulfillment, strategic direction and budget for assigned corporate partners.
  • Assist department with day-to-day internal and external communications
  • Support gameday hospitality and activations at Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC preseason and regular-season home games/matches
  • Assist regularly with department hospitality needs and managing inventory for gifting and player autograph items
  • Assist in the planning and/or execution of events, including Draft Day, Taste of the Panthers, Community Events, and Training Camp
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including transcribing and distributing meeting notes, handling shipping and courier needs, and assisting with printing projects
  • Utilize CRM to keep partner accounts up to date
  • Developing and maintaining courteous, effective, and professional working relationships with partners and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality with regard to partner and Club matters.
  • Assist the Corporate Partnerships team as directed on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications, Skills and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in and passion for the world of sports. Prior experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player who works well with others in a dynamic environment, and consistently displays a positive, can-do attitude
  • Must be a self-starter who exhibits strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Able to demonstrate high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
  • Able to work well within a team environment
  • Experience working in Microsoft Outlook/PowerPoint/Word/Excel and Adobe Photoshop preferred
  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and during Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC events, which may include nights and holidays.
  • Successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
 
Physical Requirements 

  • Sitting at a desk and computer for long periods of time. 
  • Bending, standing, reaching, kneeling, and lifting technology equipment and office materials. 
  • Walking throughout the stadium facility, sometimes for an extended period of time. 
 

Work Environment 

This job operates primarily in a professional office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
