Technical Services: Audio/Video Editing and Production
Position Summary
The Carolina Panthers are looking for a Sr. Digital Video Manager with extensive experience creating various types of innovative video content for digital platforms. This person should have a comprehensive knowledge base of video production including shooting, editing and motion graphics design, with a focus on storytelling.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage a department of short-form video content producers
  • Ideate new and engaging content for our social and digital media channels
  • Lead the conception and production of visual stories through both short-form content and longer-form projects (e.g. schedule release, preseason hype, features)
  • Guide the execution of the digital video team to:
    • Strategize and execute consistently engaging video content year-round
    • Work hand-in-hand with social media team to strategically roll out content
    • Film and edit practice content
    • Interview players and coaches for storytelling elements
    • Deliver real-time content on game days
  • Oversee the constant development of skills of the digital video department and the exploration of new creative techniques
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to fulfill video requests at a high standard
  • Effectively communicate creative ideas within a collaborative environment
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience creating content with an emphasis on digital media
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Deep understanding of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc., and what content is popular on those platforms
  • Adept at motion graphic design, design conventions, and post-production process
  • Must have a strong understanding of the latest digital, social media, and video production trends shaping professional sports including the cross-section of sports, pop culture, music, fashion, art, and entertainment
  • Must have experience leading a small team
  • Experience working with NFL content preferred but not required
  • Must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends and all Carolina Panthers and Stadium events, including events held on weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Must pass pre-employment screens

  • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task and collaborate
  • Must be able to take project from concept to completion
  • Technically knowledgeable and savvy in a digital environment
  • Must organize personal workflows so projects are easily shared between teammates
  • Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information with carefully and with sensitivity
  • Must exhibit professionalism as it relates to budget management and meeting deadlines

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment (mostly office environment, outside in a stadium facility at times which may include inclement weather conditions).  This position also requires travel to training camp and away games.
