The Part-Time Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the Talent Acquisition team, helping ensure a positive and efficient experience for candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams. This position supports recruiting operations through interview coordination, candidate communication, onboarding activities, data management, and recruitment event support. The role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to the success of Spurs Sports & Entertainment's talent acquisition efforts.

Who You Are:  

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 1–2 years of administrative, customer service, HR, recruiting, or related experience preferred. 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred. 
  • Experience supporting onboarding processes, including I-9 verification and background check administration, preferred. 
  • Proactive, team-oriented approach with a desire to learn and grow within Talent Acquisition. 
  • Passion for people and alignment with SS&E's values and culture. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. 

Availability Requirements  

  • Must be available to work a flexible part-time schedule based on business needs, not to exceed 29 hours per week. 
  • Availability to support occasional evening or weekend recruiting events may be required. 
  • Ability to work onsite in San Antonio, TX as needed to support interviews, hiring events, onboarding activities, and team collaboration. 

Physical Requirements  

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time. 
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis. 
  • Ability to work onsite as needed to support recruiting activities, interviews, hiring events, and team collaboration. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Coordinate interview scheduling, logistics, and communication between candidates and hiring teams. 
  • Manage job postings across internal and external job boards and ensure content accuracy and consistency. 
  • Support candidate onboarding and pre-employment activities, including background checks, reference checks, and new hire documentation. 
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team. 
  • Assist with recruitment marketing and employer branding efforts, including social media and event support. 
  • Help organize and staff recruiting events, career fairs, and hiring days. 
  • Support early career recruiting initiatives, recruiting events, and high-volume hiring efforts. 
  • Assist with maintaining Talent Acquisition processes, documentation, and recruiting toolkits. 
  • Assist with tracking recruiting metrics and maintaining compliance with HR policies and employment practices. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Assist with recruitment marketing and employer branding efforts, including social media and event support. 
  • Help organize and staff recruiting events, career fairs, and hiring days. 
  • Manage and support early career recruiting, programing, and high-volume venue operations roles.  
  • Build and maintain TA business process and toolkits documentation 
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics and ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
