The Ready to Work Internship Program offers paid, hands-on experience for students interested in building professional skills within a dynamic sports and entertainment organization. Interns will support day-to-day operations, contribute to real projects, and gain exposure to how teams collaborate across the business.
Interns will participate in structured onboarding, professional development sessions, mentorship opportunities, and meaningful project-based work aligned to team priorities. This program is designed to provide practical experience, skill-building, and career exposure for emerging talent in the San Antonio community.
Who You Are:
To be eligible for the Ready to Work Internship Program, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
• Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student, including:
• Rising undergraduate juniors, or
• Graduate students who have completed at least one year of their program
• Must have at least one academic year remaining following completion of the internship
• Must be eligible to participate in the City of San Antonio’s Ready to Work Program
• Must be based in or attending school in the San Antonio area
• Must be available to participate in the full 8-week internship program (June 22 – August 14, 2026)
• Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during the internship period.
The People & Culture Intern will support initiatives related to employee experience, talent, and organizational culture. This role offers insight into how teams support people and build inclusive workplaces.
What You’ll Do
• Assist with HR and People & Culture programs and initiatives
• Support onboarding, engagement, and development activities
• Help organize data, documentation, and internal resources
• Collaborate with team members on culture-focused projects
