Overview

The person in this role will lead a team of activation coordinators who will run the execution, management and quality control of all partnerships from sale to execution, ensuring partner satisfaction, meeting timeline milestones and delivery within the approved budgets. They will use their critical thinking skills to bring ideas to life in an engaging way across live events, social and digital media. Additionally, they will have a clear understanding of the execution process and success metrics for partnership elements. You will work closely with Brand, Social, Digital, Game Operations, and Spurs Give departments to manage partnerships that help drive Global Partnership sales goals while supporting the organization’s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, and innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead the training and development of the Partnership Activation Coordinators and Associates.
  • Develop and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners s to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
  • Manage all fulfillment activities needed based on client contracts to ensure that all elements that are contractually obligated are delivered in a professional manner.
  • Lead the project management of the execution of premier partner’s contractual deliverables, while providing exceptional client service, relationship building, entertaining and quarterly program progress reports.
  • Use independent judgment to assist, support, and coordinate internally and externally in regards to all aspects of promoting and managing all SS&E franchise properties.
  • Create cohesive activation and hospitality strategy that enhances SS&E's partnerships and aligns to business objectives.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of marketing / sponsorship experience. Experience in sports or entertainment industry preferred
  • Experience building and developing teams
  • Consistent track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and while using interpersonal skills to lead multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
  • Strong skills in communication, writing, and the working cross-functionally
  • Exceptional teammate with proven ability to lead through influence
  • Hospitality & operations professional with experience managing large, complex activations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Proficient with CRM System preferred
  • Thrives in a dynamic team environment with all levels in the organization
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, some holidays, and event nights
  • 80% of job can be performed remotely/20% of work needed to be performed onsite as needed or on a seasonal basis.
