The Event Services Associate (Part-Time) supports the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external events at The Rock at La Cantera. This role assists with event scheduling, client and vendor communication, event setup and breakdown, staff coordination, event-day programming, and post-event follow-up. The position may independently manage assigned small-scale events and activations while supporting larger events under the direction of the Event Services team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide day-to-day support for the Event Services team, including staff scheduling, booking calendar management and updates, internal and external communication, and client interaction.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events, programs, and activations at The Rock at La Cantera.
  • Independently plan and manage assigned small-scale events and activations from concept through completion, including pre-event planning, coordination, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Conduct pre-event walkthroughs and assist with event setup, on-site operations, breakdown, and post-event recaps.
  • Assist with overseeing event staff, including Fan Operations and Security, during event execution by conducting pre-event briefings, providing on-site direction and support, and preparing and distributing event-related documentation and materials.
  • Assist with event-day announcements and public-facing communications, as well as the execution of games, activities, and other event programming.
  • Manage vendor relations for activations and vendor market events, including vendor communication and coordination, maintaining vendor databases, and collecting and tracking required forms and documentation.
  • Actively identify, recruit, and secure vendors that align with the theme, audience, and goals of assigned events and activations.
  • Track event-related expenses, invoices, and operational needs to support accurate event planning and reconciliation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in event services, hospitality, facility operations, sports/entertainment, or a related field OR current enrollment in a related degree program such as Sport Management, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Comfort with public speaking and making event announcements, or willingness to develop public speaking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced event environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet-based applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
  • Must be able to work extended shifts, including event days
  • Must be able to work outside in the elements
