The Coordinator, Entertainment Team Operations is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and execution of the San Antonio Spurs official dance team within the Game Presentation department. Reporting to the Sr. Coordinator, this role oversees team operations including rehearsals, scheduling, game day execution, appearances, and administrative coordination.
This position serves as the primary operational liaison for the dance team, ensuring preparedness, professionalism, and consistency across all performances, appearances, and fan engagement opportunities. The Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining performance standards, supporting talent management, and delivering a high-quality in-arena entertainment experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Support day-to-day oversight of dance team members (part-time/seasonal performers).
- Coordinate scheduling, attendance tracking, and team communications.
- Support onboarding, expectations, and conduct standards.
- Exercise functional supervision; no full-time direct reports.

Team Operations
- Support daily operations of the dance team including rehearsals, scheduling and appearances
- Maintain team schedules, attendance, and communication to ensure alignment and preparedness
- Support onboarding, uniforms, and performance expectations

Game Day Execution
- Execute dance team elements during games, including timing, cues, and coordination with Game Presentation staff.
- Serve as an alternate on-site point of contact to ensure readiness and adherence to run-of-show for appearances, events and home games.
- Support integration into in-game promotions, sponsor activations, and fan engagement.
Events & Engagement
- Coordinate appearances for community events, sponsor activations, and external engagements.
- Manage logistics including scheduling, transportation, and event preparation.
Administrative & Planning
- Maintain team records including contracts, schedules, and documentation.
- Support planning and execution of auditions, rehearsals, and special events
- Assist with budget tracking and expense coordination.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Game Presentation, Marketing, Partnerships, and Community
- Impact teams to support programming.
- Communicate with stakeholders to align expectations and execution.
Other
- Perform other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
- 1-3 years of experience in sports, entertainment, live events, or talent coordination preferred
- Experience working with performance teams preferred.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and all home games
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during events.
- Navigate arena environments including court level, concourse, and staging areas.
- Work in loud, crowded, and fast-paced environments.
