Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) is seeking a versatile and innovative Creative Studio Senior Producer to play a key role in producing elevated branding and marketing content that represents SS&E’s umbrella of franchises. This experienced storyteller and project leader will capture, edit, and produce cinematic and social-first content tailored to multiple platforms, from long-form features to TikTok-style trends. 

The Senior Producer will take increased ownership of assigned creative projects, collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, and support the strategic planning, organization, and execution of creative initiatives across all SS&E franchises. This role conducts both studio-based and field-based productions, operating professional video, lighting, and audio equipment with strong technical proficiency. 

Beyond hands-on content creation, this position plays a key role in creative operations, supporting project workflows, asset management, scheduling, and production logistics. The ideal candidate understands creative processes, works well with designers, editors, and animators, and helps ensure brand consistency and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. Motion design experience is preferred but not required. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and support creative production for marketing and brand campaigns across all SS&E franchises, contributing throughout pre-production, production, and delivery phases.  
  • Assist in developing creative concepts by gathering references, preparing materials, and ensuring alignment with brand goals, campaigns, and partner initiatives. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Partnerships, Marketing, Digital) by collecting requirements, communicating updates, and maintaining alignment throughout the project lifecycle.  
  • Organize and support all production activities, including video, photo, and design workflows, ensuring resources, schedules, and logistics are executed efficiently.  
  • Plan, prepare, and help facilitate studio and field shoots, ensuring all materials, equipment, and talent needs are coordinated and delivered. 
  • Produce and prepare assets for short- and long-form content, including organizing footage, performing basic edits, and preparing deliverables for broadcast, arena presentation, and social platforms. 
  • Maintain creative quality and brand consistency, ensuring all deliverables meet SS&E standards and are delivered accurately and on time. 
  • Monitor industry, cultural, and social trends to provide recommendations that strengthen brand storytelling and platform performance. 
  • Contribute to a collaborative, positive creative culture, sharing learnings, providing support, and partnering across departments. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Who You Are:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in video production, creative production, or related field, preferably within sports, entertainment, or agency environments 

  • A degree or certification in film or another related discipline or demonstrated commensurate experience 

  • Demonstrated experience owning creative projects from concept through final delivery 

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro as well as Photoshop and After Effects 

  • Experience producing content across multiple platforms (broadcast, social, digital, and/or in-venue environments) preferred 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required  

  • Experience using professional cinema cameras including RED and Sony FX cameras 

  • Experience creating and producing branded content or commercials for sports organizations is preferred 

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on production and event schedules   

  • A strong knowledge of basketball, the NBA, the San Antonio Spurs is a plus

  • Motion graphics using After Effects and Cinema 4D is a plus

  • Proficient in branding and marketing techniques across all platforms (long and short form)

 

Physical Requirements  

  • Sitting on a basketball court in small spaces, standing on the sidelines of a soccer pitch, walking up and down arena stairs. 
  • Sitting for long periods of time while editing (frequent) 
  • Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time. 
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs on a regular basis 
  • Other physical requirements might arise based on the unique video shoots each season (occasional)
