The Parks & Grounds Associate Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of Parks & Grounds operations at The Rock at La Cantera. Serving as the functional owner of approximately 34 acres of public and event space, this role provides strategic and operational direction to ensure the campus is safe, well-maintained, and presented to SS&E standards.
Reporting to the Associate Director, The Rock at La Cantera, the Parks & Grounds Associate Manager leads staff and vendors, manages departmental budgets, and establishes maintenance strategies and standards in alignment with organizational priorities. This role partners closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support daily operations, events, and long-term capital initiatives, while maintaining compliance with applicable agreements and safety expectations.
This role is ideal for individuals who excel at planning and prioritizing complex operational work, thrive in public and event-centric environments, and are motivated to contribute their expertise within a collaborative, high-performing team committed to SS&E’s championship culture.
