About the Role 

Seaport Entertainment is looking for a Recruiter to support our New York hospitality locations. The Recruiter will promote and grow the business, hire and train waitstaff, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. You will also manage inventory and resources, plan promotional events, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, maintain current licenses and update vendor contracts, create schedules, and set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction. You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations. 

 

What You Will Do 

  • Partner with departmental leaders, Talent Acquisition Manager and Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to assist in the recruiting needs.  

  • Source and attract highly qualified candidates, conduct interviews, establish, and maintain a strong recruiting pipeline of candidates for the future.  

  • Recruit for all assigned open positions and communicate timely actions and next steps with team and hiring managers.  

  • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house recruiting platforms and ATS to identify the best candidates.  

  • Create/update job descriptions and detailed search assignments and gain an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements. 

  • Provide exceptional recruitment experience to candidates and full lifecycle recruiting, including special search assignments.  

  • Generate and screen resumes and applications, schedule applicant appointments and conduct in-depth interviews.  

  • Prepare candidates for interviewing with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, background, job descriptions, and expectations.  

  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.  

  • Facilitate end to end recruitment cycle for the candidate from initial screening to offer.  

  • Actively engage with various recruiters and headhunters Tin Building by Jean-Georges partners with.  

  • Ensure constant communications, and a sense of urgency with follow ups with all candidates, leaders and headhunters/recruiters.  

  • Utilize Tin Building’s ATS system, Ceridian on a daily basis. 

  • Update trackers and generate reports as needed, ensuring full accuracy with consistent audits.  

  • Ability to manage expectations, processes, and multiple projects simultaneously.  

  • Operate ethically to protect the image of the company.  

  • Must be able to maintain a schedule availability flexible to the business demands.    

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.  

 

 

About You 

  • At least 4 years of recruiting experience recruiting for high volume industries in Food & Beverage, and/or Hospitality experience a plus.  

  • Passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success  

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  

  • Effective teamwork skills.  

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, and electronic)  

  • Genuinely friendly interpersonal skills  

  • Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills.  

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.  

  • Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment.   

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.   

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards  

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis).   

  • Ability to stand for the entire workday.   

  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the store.  Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.   

  •  Climbing steps regularly.   

 

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
