THE RUNDOWN  
Playfly Sports is looking for a Sr Director, Human Resources to join our team in Berwyn, PA.  
 
The Senior Director of Human Resources will assist the Head of HR in leading the HR function. This role will create and administer human resources programs and policies that reflect the company’s values, mission and short & long-term goals. The Senior Director will provide support and guidance to other members of the HR team across all functions of HR, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, and compliance.    
 
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH  
  • Triage HR issues and escalate them to the Head of Human Resources as needed  
  • Partner with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Employee Relations functions to effectively deliver HR programs and initiatives  
  • Provide mentorship and coaching for junior HR team members  
  • Develop and implement new HR policies and procedures, providing guidance and interpretation to employees  
  • Advise and guide employees and managers on HR-related matters, performance management, mentoring, change management and career planning  
  • Manage employee relations issues and investigations  
  • Run reports and analyze internal data to make evidenced based recommendations that support the business  
  • Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics  
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process  
  • Assist with M&A strategy and due diligence process  
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulations  
  • Remain up to date on relevant HR and sports industry trends to stay in line and competitive within the marketplace  
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure current HR policies and procedures are aligned with business objectives  
  • Other job-related duties as assigned 
 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field  
  • 10+ years of experience working in HR required  
  • PHR or SHRM-CP required  
  • Managerial experience preferred   
  • Experience presenting to and advising senior level and executive leaders  
  • Proven experience in change management and implementing new processes  
  • Strong proficiency in working in HRIS systems  
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to work on multiple competing priorities and adapt to the needs of the organization  
  • Strong problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
 
TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  
  • This position is primarily sedentary and will take place in a quiet office setting  
  • Some travel may be required 
 
COMPENSATION  
The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
