Playfly Sports is looking for an Events and Operations Specialist, Playfly Max to join our team in College Station, TX

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Events and Operations Specialist to lead the planning and execution of all Playfly Max events and operational initiatives at Texas A&M. This individual will oversee premium experiences such as NIL galas, golf tournaments, NIL educational events, exclusive “meet-the-team” events, watch parties and more. This is a pivotal role that blends event production, stakeholder management, and on-the-ground operational leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

• Design, plan, and execute NIL events
• Manage budgets, timelines, vendor coordination, venue selection, and run-of-show for all events.

• Serve as the primary logistics and operations lead for all event-related activities.
• Coordinate student-athlete appearance schedules in alignment with compliance protocols.
• Develop and implement checklists, timelines, and post-event reports.
• Ensure seamless execution with attention to brand presentation and guest experience.

• Work closely with the Texas A&M athletics department, Playfly Max team, local brands, donors, and vendors.
• Liaise with brand partners to integrate event sponsorships and on-site activations.

• Support the marketing team in crafting event promotions and post-event storytelling across social and digital platforms.
• Capture event data, testimonials, and photos to support sales and engagement follow-up.
• Other job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Hospitality, or related field is preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of event planning experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or donor-based environments.
• Proven ability to manage high-end, complex events with multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-stakes settings
• Other Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with NIL, college athletics, or donor engagement strategy.
  • Previous experience with hospitality programming or luxury brand activations.
  • Texas A&M alum or demonstrated understanding of Aggie culture is a plus.

TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk-up stairs
• Must be able to work nights and weekends around sporting events
