Location
Strong preference for candidates based in Los Angeles, CA. However, we will also consider candidates based in New York, NY or Washington, D.C. Candidates based in Los Angeles will be expected to work in-office as needed, in coordination with team and business requirements.
Role Summary
OneTeam is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who wants to help shape the company’s financial direction and make their mark on a rapidly growing organization at the heart of sports and business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys collaborating with people across the organization, and embraces a dynamic environment. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role across all FP&A processes including monthly/quarterly/annual close, forecasting and analysis, and strategic initiative planning.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company’s financial model, supporting planning and scenario analysis for long-range plan, annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Active involvement in the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports to department leads and management, including monthly P&L, cash flow, KPI tracking, and variance analysis
- Prepare comprehensive financial analyses and materials for both internal and external reporting
- Data-driven analysis and monitoring of market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry research to provide insights and recommendations on risks and opportunities
- Consistently evaluate and implement business systems and AI solutions to bring greater speed, accuracy and automation to FP&A processes
- Coordinate across internal teams and stakeholders to digest real-time information to inform business decisions and planning
- Support financial modeling and due diligence for corporate development efforts including M&A, debt/equity fundraising and strategic growth initiatives
- Create and assist in ad-hoc financial analyses across business units to drive better decision making
- Additional duties as assigned
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related analytical field
- 3+ years’ experience in startup/corporate, investment banking, consulting, or relevant financial experience
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required
- Experience and comfort with large data set extraction, clean-up and analysis
- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High energy, detail oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize a diverse workload
- Intellectually curious, independent, and driven to improve self and processes
- Interest in sports, media, entertainment, and athlete empowerment
- Experience with financial planning systems, data science and/or BI tools is a plus
Compensation
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 + bonus opportunity

The above compensation reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on Los Angeles, CA and current national data. Working Conditions
This is a full-time position. For hybrid employees based in Los Angeles, work will be performed both in a professional office environment and remotely. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and video conferencing tools will be used regularly. Work hours are generally Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with additional hours required to meet key deadlines such as month-end close, board reporting, and forecasting cycles. Physical demands are typical of an office-based role, including extended periods of computer use and participation in virtual and in-person meetings. Some travel may be required for team meetings, planning sessions, or company events.
