Formed in November 2019, OneTeam Partners is a joint venture between the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), MLB Players Association (MLBPA), HPS Investment Partners, General Atlantic and Morgan Stanley Tactical Value. 

OneTeam Partners helps athletes maximize the value of their name, image, and likeness rights by transforming the way in which athlete collectives interact with businesses and clients across Games and Interactive Licensing; CP Licensing; Sponsor and Partner Marketing; Content and Production; and Business Building. 
 
OneTeam Partners represents a range of commercial business interests on behalf of the NFLPA, MLBPA, MLSPA, U.S. Women's National Team Players Association, Women's National Basketball Players Association, U.S. Rugby Players Association, National Women’s Soccer League, and League of Legends Championship Series Players Association. 
 
About the Role:
Reporting to the SVP, Head of Sponsor and Partner Marketing, this person will focus on developing partnerships for the women’s player associations (NWSLPA, USWNTPA, and the WNBPA) as well as women athletes across professional and collegiate sports. 

You Are: 
  • A great communicator and team player who understands that there is no I in OneTeam
  • A self-motivated individual with proven experience and success in business development, sponsorship, athlete endorsements brand sponsor consulting and/or advertising sales 
  • Some experience on the agency side matching clients to brands 
  • A track record of success brokering multi-year deals and integrated partnerships including creative campaigns and production
  • Connected within the industry, and come with established relationships with brands and agencies that can be leveraged on Day 1 
  • An executive with a deep understanding of the women’s sports and marketing landscape
  • Able to energize a room and create connections with clients and therefore solutions for them, which will lead to revenue at OTP
  • Creative seller who truly digests client needs and present long term partnerships that align to OTP’s rights and client objectives
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identifying high potential target brands to align with and sponsor the women's PA’s and athletes
  • Develop and execute a partnership sales strategy that will exceed revenue targets utilizing Player Association events, athletes, and custom content to drive revenue
  • Create and present proposals that address the client’s specific business objectives and marketing challenges 
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that the partnerships are tailored to meet the client’s needs, and once sold that the partnerships overdeliver and renew
  • Staying abreast of key industry trends and competitive offerings – both for OneTeam Partners and for your clients

Qualifications
  • 5 - 7+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on direct sales or brand sponsor consulting in sports and entertainment
  • Deep understanding of the sports sponsorship environment, with an emphasis in women’s sports, including the ability to speak knowledgeably about industry trends and client challenges
  • Strong track record of success in exceeding sales targets
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and develop compelling proposals
  • Experience presenting to existing and prospective clients
  • Ability to understand and leverage data and insights
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and opportunities
  • Proficient in PPT, Sharepoint, and sales CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce)
