Purpose: OneTeam Partners is currently looking for a highly motivated Marketing Account Manager to join its games licensing business. As the Marketing Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing marketing plans for game licensees. Reporting to the Director of Marketing (Games), you will collaborate closely with internal teams and build strong relationships with licensees to ensure successful marketing activations. We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results for clients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent problem-solving abilities, and has expertise in social media and influencer marketing.

This position will play a key role in supporting our licensees as well as our PA partners: NFLPA, MLBPA, MLSPA, USWNTPA, WNBPA, USRPA, NWSLPA, and LCSPA.
 
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with game licensees through regular communication, collaboration, and successful execution of marketing activations.
  • Collaborate with game licensees and internal teams to define marketing strategies, create comprehensive marketing plans, and ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
  • Evaluate the successes and challenges of previous marketing activations, brainstorm ideas for improvement, and provide transparent feedback to partners and internal teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication and consensus-building by scheduling meetings and sending comprehensive emails to stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment among all stakeholders regarding expectations, timelines, deliverables, and coordinate approvals for marketing assets.
  • Support internal teams in the day-to-day management and execution of game licensee marketing plans.
  • Provide expertise in social media and influencer marketing to shape social media strategies for both internal and external teams.
  • Oversee campaigns utilizing athlete social channels, employing industry best practices, tracking performance, and making optimizations to maximize results.
  • Collaborate with game licensees to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop a plan to track performance and optimize as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-4 years’ experience as a marketing account manager or a social media marketing specialist
  • Social media and influencer marketing knowledge required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, creative, and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Experience with project management tools 
  • Passion for video games and/or sports
