OneTeam helps athletes maximize the value of their name, image, and likeness rights by transforming the way in which athlete collectives interact with businesses across Games and Interactive Licensing, CP Licensing, Sponsor and Partner Marketing, Content and Production, and Business Building. OneTeam represents a range of commercial business interests on behalf of the NFLPA, MLBPA, MLSPA, U.S. Women's National Team Players Association, Women's National Basketball Players Association, U.S. Rugby Players Association, National Women’s Soccer League, League of Legends Championship Series Players Association, and college athletes.

Role Summary
OneTeam Partners is seeking a Director, Strategic Finance to manage financial planning and analysis and corporate development by providing financial insights and guidance to shape the company’s strategic financial direction.  

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Manage the company’s financial model; lead planning and scenario analysis for long-range plan, annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Drive preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports to management, including monthly P&L, cash flow and variance analysis.
  • Align corporate strategy with execution and track financial performance
  • Provide monthly performance updates to departmental leads including measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics against benchmarks and goals to support operational effectiveness. 
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations to management on risks and opportunities
  • Evaluate and implement business systems and AI solutions to bring greater speed, accuracy and efficiency to FP&A processes

2. Corporate Development
  • Drive proactive capital planning, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning, debt origination support and interest expense forecasting. 
  • Manage cash investment portfolio, and ensure compliance with debt covenants, regulatory reporting requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide financial modeling and due diligence for corporate development efforts including M&A, debt and equity fundraising and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Assess the financial and operational impact of potential deals on the company’s performance.
  • Oversee monitoring, reporting, and forecasting performance of the company’s investment portfolio

Basic Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; MBA and/or CPA a bonus
  • 6+ years relevant experience in investment banking, transaction support or relevant financial experience
  • M&A, capital markets and valuation experience preferred
  • Advanced excel and financial modeling skills required
  • Expertise in complex project management and facilitating cross-functional collaboration
  • Advanced PowerPoint and executive-level presentation skills
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact with all levels of management and external parties
  • Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams and multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
