Technical Services: Production
Purpose: OneTeam Partners is seeking a Director of Production for its games licensing business. This position reports to the VP, Product Development (Games) and will be responsible for helping manage our licensed games slate across all interactive and digital platforms. This person will have considerable experience developing games and must be creatively driven as well as commercially savvy.

This position will play a key role supporting our licensees as well our PA partners: NFLPA, MLBPA, MLSPA, USWNTPA, WNBPA, USRPA overseeing the development and production of games developed by our licensees. This role reports to the VP, Product Development (Games).

Primary duties and responsibilities include:
  • Help oversee production schedule, creative and product development for OneTeam’s slate of licensed video games both in development and in live operation
  • Be unremitting on quality through a deep understanding of design, production, monetization, live operations, and community management across multiple game genres
  • Identify areas of innovation and growth for OneTeam and its partners, communicate industry insights and trends back to the organization
  • Provide regular feedback and approvals on submissions and builds to our developer partners
  • Become the primary point of contact for PAs, drive communication, reporting, and regular meetings to ensure our PAs are well informed
  • Partner with OneTeam marketing to maximize marketing commitments that drive positive KPIs for our development partners
  • Possesses great design ideas to help maximize user engagement and monetization
  • Objectively evaluate games from a commercial and critical focus. Ensure all teams operate and are informed by both quantitative and qualitative analytics
 
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 6-8 years’ experience working in the video game industry in a production or development role at a video game studio, publisher or platform
  • A practical understanding of all phases of development: concept, pre-production, production, and live service with a creative eye able to communicate game ideas and improvements to our partners; previous project-management skills a plus
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and poised. Able to resolve issues on the fly and communicate effectively with senior-level stakeholders
  • Self-starter and independently motivated to take initiative, collaborate, gain consensus to problem solve
  • Has a learning mindset and is excited to stay on top of the latest trends in sports, gaming, and technology
  • Expert communication and presentation skills
  • Strong technology understanding with an eye on current trends, innovations and cutting-edge gaming and development
  • Experience with Agile methodologies a plus
  • Must be passionate about video games and sports
